One of my friends gave birth to her first child this week.  We went to the hospital to congratulate her and her husband today.  Their newborn is a really adorable boy that is doing very well.  It was cool for us to see them and their newborn.  They told us how everything went with the delivery and that their newborn boy checked out perfect.  He looked really great for being only two days old.  Rachel was funny to watch because she has never seen a newborn.  I think at first she thought is was a doll when he was sleeping.  But, then when he woke up, she just looked at him with her mouth wide open with amazement.  After a couple of minutes she got more and more curious.  However, she was too afraid to get to close to him.  We had a great visit with them and are so happy they are doing well.
